What is the MyCharityConnects Conference?
For the past four years, CanadaHelps has hosted the MyCharityConnects Conference - the premier social media and online fundraising learning opportunity of the year for non-profits and charities. The conference provides relevant, practical and thought-provoking information about what works online for non-profits ... and what doesn't. Attendees can expect to learn about social media platforms, trends in technology, mobile giving, community building, online fundraising and video, movement marketing, and much more!
Who should attend the Conference?
Anyone from a charity or nonprofit, but the conference will be particularly attractive to fundraisers and marketers.
When is the conference?
Tuesday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 13.
Where will the Conference be held?
At the Allstream Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The address is 105 Princes' Blvd. Toronto, ON M6K 3C3 (click for map). Click here for directions and parking information.
When does registration open?
Early bird registration will open in late February. Please note only a limited number of early bird tickets will be available for a limited time.
How much are tickets?
- Early Bird Ticket: $337.87 ($299.00 ticket price + $38.87 HST)
- Regular Ticket: $395.50 (350.00 ticket price + $45.50 HST)
- Consultants/For-Profit Ticket: $508.50 ($450.00 ticket price + $58.50 HST)
What is included in the price?
- Admission to 3 keynote session and choice of break-out sessions
- 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches
- Conference materials
- Networking reception on Tuesday evening
- And a whole lot of learning and networking!
Is the conference accessible?
Yes, Allstream Centre is an accessible facility.
What are the methods of payment?
Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, American Express, cheque payment.
Can I register offline?
Yes, payment by cheque is available. Please contact Kara at karag@canadahelps.org for details.
What if I need to cancel?
Registration is non-refundable but if you can find someone to take your place, we will allow for substitutions. Please note that we may not be able to guarantee new workshop selections.
What is the appropriate attire?
Business casual.
I am coming from out of town. What hotels are in the area?
There are several major hotels located near the Allstream Centre. Please check out this Google Map for a list of the nearest hotels.
How far is the airport from Allstream?
About 30-35 minutes from Pearson International and about 5-10 minutes from Porter Airlines.
